^{Oscar’s work reflects the epochs in which certainties are shifting and established framework are losing their taken-for-granted status. In this fluid reality, people are increasingly thrown back upon themselves and on one another; confronted with their own way of existence, they grapple with desire, libaration, autonomy, alienation, and crisis. Oscar approaches this existential theme as an ongoing process of (new) becoming. His work also challenges the notion of the human being as a fixed unit instead portraying the individual(s) in explorations of deconstruction, transformation and becoming.}
